Berkeley Nights

As I am sitting here inside Wurster Hall at a window overlooking the Bay, I am reminded of what makes the Berkeley campus so great at night. On a regular Friday night, I am always given the option of either staying in and catching up on work or go out with my friends and enjoy the start of the weekend. I know when given the option, it seems much more enticing to go out and enjoy myself but sometimes it is very calming to stay in and just have the night to yourself. You are able to reflect and enjoy some of the small things that get lost in the shuffle of a fast-paced college life. I wish everyone a happy weekend, whether that entails going out and having a good time with friends or staying in and enjoying some alone time.
