We'd like to give you a taste of what UC Berkeley is all about! Several students with various majors, backgrounds, and interests will be posting about their personal experiences here at Cal. We hope to assuage your anxiety about admissions, answer your questions, and offer more insight than can be condensed into a brochure. Future topics will include:- club involvement
- student life and housing
- campus history and traditions
- academics
- Greek life
- athletics
- guest contributors
- off-campus experience
UC Berkeley has, as we see it, all of the prestige without the pretension. This blog aims to put a face to the University. This blog is kind of like The Real World: Berkeley - where we stopped being prospective students and started being Bears.
Go Bears!
Love,
The Golden Bear Bloggers
Can you give me any information about the application process i.e. dates, scores, extracurriculars, the process, etc.?

With all the stuff in the news about education cuts where is the information on how students are going to pay? How high are the fees? How much higher are they going to get?
ReplyDeleteObama passed some student loan stuff, but will it be enough if UC Berkeley raises its fees? it's all really confusing.
Am I going to have to drop-out if my parents don't qualify for the loans? I assume its the same for all schools, but there's all this information about professional degrees going up...is Haas included?
Anonymous, those are good questions. We will try to address your concerns...check back on the Admissions blog (link below, left).
ReplyDeleteIs there any way to write for this blog? If there is a certain process to go about applying for a "position" (though I know that is certainly not the right word for it), I would absolutely love to know.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks and keep sharing these insightful college moments,
-Mon
